TIINA LUGUS MS, LAT, ATC
LICENSED ATHLETIC TRAINER
After growing up in Atlanta, GA, Tiina moved to the Northeast to earn her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Boston University in 2018. At BU, she worked with a variety of athletic teams, including hockey, swim and dive, basketball, crew, and baseball. In 2020, she went on to earn her Master of Science in Athletic Training at Ohio University, where she specialized in working with the performing arts and marching band. Tiina joins the EPIC team after working for two years in the orthopedic clinic setting, where she gained experience with casting, bracing, wound care, and post-operative treatment.
In her free time, Tiina loves to teach spin classes, rock climb, dance, paint, and hike throughout North Carolina with her dog, Hudson. She grew up as a dancer and gymnast and hopes to continue her love for performing arts by providing rehabilitative care to dancers, musicians, and theatre performers. The joy of working with patients one on one and witnessing them achieve their goals is what makes Tiina so passionate about her career.
