Physical Therapist - North Raleigh

Raised in High Point North Carolina, Jon joins the EPIC Physical Therapy team having received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2012 from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and also holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of North Carolina. He completed his orthopedic and sports clinical internship at Champion Sports Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama. Additionally, he is dry needling certified, has been an active and published member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association and has been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist since 2010. Prior to joining the team at EPIC PT, Jon worked at Aventura Hospital and Medical Center in Aventura, Florida as an outpatient orthopedic, neurological, and vestibular specialist as well as a post-operative acute care therapist.

Jon enjoys an active lifestyle and participating in many sports including basketball, ultimate frisbee, and disc golf. He grew up as an avid high school athlete playing soccer, wrestling, and distance running, where he developed his interest in fitness, athletics, and sports performance. Jon enjoys working with people of all levels of physical ability from high caliber athletes to exercise novices and has a true passion for helping people overcome their physical impairments in order to return to their favorite activities without limitation. His comprehensive treatment approach focuses on the restoration of healthy whole-body movement patterns through the targeted use of manual therapies and therapeutic exercise in order to help his patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. He particularly loves helping his patients not only get back to but to exceed their previous personal performance records!

Jon has aspirations of becoming an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Board Certified Sports Rehab Specialist.
