An Eastern North Carolina native, Jennifer joins the EPIC Physical Therapy team having received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Elon University, and also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from East Carolina University. Jennifer enjoys working with all types of patients, however her strong passion and clinical interest is in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of athletic injuries of the shoulder and hip. Her treatment approach includes the appropriate use of manual therapy coupled with therapeutic exercises, patient education, and the implementation of a home exercise plan, which are all vital to successful rehabilitation!
Jennifer is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Trigger Point Dry Needling certified, a certified RockTape Provider of Fascial Movement Taping (FMT) and is trained and skilled in performing running analysis.
Jennifer grew up playing soccer and volleyball and played club soccer while at ECU. When not at work Jennifer enjoys chasing after her young son, checking out breweries with her husband and spending time outdoors.
