Anna joins EPIC Physical Therapy after spending the past several months working at Carolina Family Practice and Sports Medicine where she worked with a leading concussion management team treating youth adolescent sports concussions. Prior to moving into a clinical setting, Anna spent several years working in college athletics – Virginia Commonwealth University Baseball, Bowling Green State University Baseball and Women’s Soccer and Kennesaw State University Softball. She worked with 5 Championship teams during this tenure with 5 NCAA postseason appearances. These championships include 2018 A-Sun Softball Regular Season and Tournament Championship, 2018 & 2019 MAC Women’s Soccer Regular Season and Tournament Championship, 2021 A-10 Baseball Regular Season Championship, and 2021 & 2022 A-10 Baseball Tournament Championship. During the COVID pandemic, she had a brief stint working with the Washington Wild Things who are a member of the Frontier League.
A native of Raleigh, North Carolina, Anna received her Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training from Appalachian State University and a Masters of Education in Sports Administration from Bowling Green State University. She enjoys working with overuse injuries and preventing injury in the overhead athlete. Anna is certified in Dry Needling administration as well as Graston Technique. Anna enjoys spending her free time with her two senior dogs – Copper and Elle.
