Carlin Long PT, DPT, OCS
PHYSICAL THERAPIST – GARNER
Originally from Steubenville Ohio, Carlin joins the EPIC Physical Therapy team having received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Health Sciences from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Carlin is also a certified running coach through the International Sports Science Academy and enjoys developing training plans and performing running analyses for runners of all abilities. In addition to treating runners, Carlin enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic conditions, but has a strong passion for working with athletes in a variety of sports.
Growing up, Carlin played a variety of sports including soccer and participating in track and field in high school. During college, Carlin found a passion for marathon running and has run many races including the Boston Marathon in 2023. His love for physical therapy stems from witnessing the positive impact the profession had on his mom’s quality of life following the removal of a benign brain tumor.
In his free time, Carlin enjoys running, hiking, spending time with friends/family, watching sports, and cheering on the Marshall University Thundering Herd.
