LAUREN PASSERELL PT, DPT
PHYSICAL THERAPIST – NORTH RALEIGH
Originally from Sylvania Ohio, Lauren joined the EPIC Physical Therapy team having received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Ohio University in 2015. She attended Denison University for her undergraduate degree where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Athletic Training. She grew up playing soccer, basketball, softball and running cross country. She continued her love of sports as a member of the Denison women’s soccer team. Through her Athletic Training program, Lauren was able to work with and treat various different sports injuries. Her passion lies in Sports Medicine and Orthopedics.
Prior to joining EPIC PT, Lauren utilized both her skills as a PT and AT working at a larger outpatient facility with patients of varying skill levels including collegiate and professional athletes. She has treated a wide variety of orthopedic injuries as well as provided post operative rehabilitation. Lauren tore her ACL in college and after having completed the rehab process she particularly enjoys working with patients with lower extremity injuries but enjoys treating upper extremity injuries as well. She is certified in Dry Needling and has training in blood flow restriction (BFR).
In her free time, Lauren and her husband Tim enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking and fishing. She also is an avid runner and enjoys playing soccer and basketball.
